Celebration of Paper

No, it's not a holiday celebrated in China.  (Although, why not?  They have tons of holidays.)  This is the day we sent our dossier off.  DTC = Dossier to China.  Our dossier consisted of 13 documents that not only had to be collected, signed and notarized, but then sent to the Secretaries of State office so they could be certified that the notary was official.  Oh, but that's not all.  Then, all the documents had to be sent to 3 different Chinese Consulates here in the U.S. so that they could authenticate that the Secretaries of State signatures with valid and official.

Then, finally, they went to our agency where they made sure everything was perfect, bound it, and translated it.

These papers were about 4 months of blood sweat and tears.  Literally.  I sweated over tracking information and phone calls, cried when things were not going well, and two of those documents were doctors reports where blood was drawn.

The Paper Pregnancy has entered another trimester!!!
